Lake Canton

We went to Lake Canton in Oklahoma this weekend and had a good time. This was Rylies 1st time to the lake. She did not like the life jacket at all. Ryder had a great time. He loved his life jacket Saturday when he finally woke up from his nap he went to play in the water and thought it was hilarious when he would fall down and his head would not go under he just kept doing it. He love the water. Kyrstn and Hayden had a lot of fun too. Hayden got to ride on the tube which he thought was great. Kyrstn just enjoyed the water. She loves to be around her cousins Taylor and Kamryn, she thinks they are fun. They were in the sun all day which wore them out. It was a really good trip.

4 months old

Rylie turned 4 months old on the 14th of July. She is smiling, laughing, sucking on her fingers, and has found her toes. She loves her brothers and sisters for the most part - sometimes they are a little overwhelming. She is a pretty happy baby for the most part.

Chicken Feeding

These pictures are from today. We let our chickens out to be free since they were getting pretty big. They are very tame chickens Hayden and Kyrstn can catch them very easily. I guess they thought this one needed some help eating. The chicken did not mind at all, I guess it is use to them "helping" it do something alot of the time. Rylie and Ryder slept through the fun of feeding the chicken but got in on the fun of playing in the mud. No pictures of that - sorry.

Vacation Bible School

Hayden and Kyrstn have had several opportunities to attend vacation bible school this summer. These are some pictures of the one they attended last week. They had a lot of fun.

Fourth of July

On July 4th we celebrated Melodys grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. There were about 40 people there to ride in the parade as part of the family then we went out to their house and had a fish fry, visit, play games like horse shoes and washers. That night we went back into town and watched the fireworks. It was good to see everyone together again, especially to celebrate such a great accomplishment.

Hayden always enjoys playing with his cousin Cutter. He even got to meet a new cousin that joined our family that is about his age.

Montgomery family

Ryder enjoyed the fireworks. He even lasted most of the night. Kyrstn did not last at all I think she fell asleep before the show began, and Hayden of course talked the entire way through the fireworks.

Kindergarten

Hayden had his kindergarten awards ceremony. He recieved the science award in his class. He was very excited because he loves science - he pretends like he is a scientist a lot. He is looking forward to 1st grade for the most part. Mainly enjoying the summer and playing outside with the chickens and in the mud.
